The following is a sample of calls received by the central dispatch office for Quay County based at the Tucumcari police headquarters, during the last few days. According to reports: Tuesday
At 11:29 a.m., a female reported finding narcotics while she was cleaning an apartment on South Seventh Street. Officers advised they recovered the narcotics and disposed of them properly.
At 4:57 p.m., a male reported vandalism at a car lot on South First Street. Officers advised that one vehicle had been keyed and two had tires that were flat.
At 9:25 p.m., a female reported a fight on East Laughlin Street. Officers arrived and advised it was a verbal argument between two male subjects. Both subjects were told to move on.
At 11:45 p.m., a female reported suspicious activities around her house on Mesa Vista Street. Officers advised they patrolled around the area everything was OK.
At 7:45 a.m., a female reported that her car had been vandalized on West Crutcher Street. Officers advised that the vehicle had been keyed on the driver and passenger sides of the car. A report was filed.
At 8:15 a.m., a male reported a theft at his residence on West Dehoney. Officers were told an air conditioner unit was stolen from the window of the home. A report was filed.
At 11:23 a.m., a male reported his car had been vandalized on South Seventh Street. Officer advised that the vehicle’s doors had been keyed. A report was filed.
At 5:08 p.m., a female reported a suspicious vehicle near a building on Railroad Avenue. Officers made contact with subjects in a jeep and told the occupants to move on.
At 9:01 p.m., a routine traffic stop led to the arrest of a female subject. She was wanted out of McKinley County for failure to appear in court.
At 11:17 p.m., a officer reported an open door at the High School on Sixth Street. Officers checked the building and all was OK. The building was secured.
At 7:22 a.m., the Clovis District Court requested that an officer serve a warrant. Officers served a warrant for battery to a juvenile at the middle school on Fifth Street. The boy was released to his parents and a juvenile probation officer.
At 10:06 a.m., a female requested an officer at the high school on Sixth Street. Officers advised that a juvenile was arrested for possession of controlled substance. The juvenile was released to parents and a juvenile probation officer.
