Hilda Knapp Services: 2 p.m. today at Dunn Funeral Chapel in Tucumcari. Hilda M. Knapp, 89, died Tuesday, April 4, 2006, in Clovis. Mrs. Knapp was born Oct. 29, 1916, in Logan. She was a member of the Baptist Church. She had been a homemaker. Mrs. Knapp was preceded in death by her husband, Burt Knapp; a grandson, Terry Wayne Morris and a son, Frank Knapp. Mrs. Knapp is survived by four sons, Kolen Knapp of Great Falls, Mont., Carey Knapp of Lovington, Jerry Knapp of Hobbs and Ronnie Knapp of Tucumcari; three daughters, Sharon M. Evans of Carlsbad, Aleta Fay Lindi of Liberal, Kan., and Anna Rose Smitherman of Conroe, Texas; 22 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and a special companion, Manuel Fuentes of Tucumcari. Bill Bowman will officiate services. Burial will follow in the family plot of the Browning Cemetery near McAlister. Mrs. Knapp’s grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Arrangements are by Dunn Funeral Home of Tucumcari. Evanna Vance Services: 10 a.m. Monday at Dunn Funeral Chapel in Tucumcari. Evanna Louise Vance, 76, died Thursday, April 6, 2006, in the Espanola Valley Rehabilitation Center at Espanola. Mrs. Vance was born June 6, 1929, in Tucumcari. She had been an active member of the Trinity Baptist Church before becoming ill. Mrs. Vance was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ralph Vance, and a daughter, Margie Briedegan. Mrs. Vance is survived by two sons, Charlie (wife Lorraine) Vance of Tierra Amarilla and Ralph Vance of Leander, Texas; grandchildren Brenda (David) Graham of Amarillo, Alanna (Joseph) Valdez of Canjilon, Stephen Vance (companion Teresa Lujan) of Farmington and Mason Vance of Austin, Texas, and three great-grandchildren. Fred Caton will officiate services. Burial will follow in the Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Dunn Funeral Home of Tucumcari. Coralie Keith Services: Have been held. Coralie May Foss Keith, 79, died Tuesday, April 4, 2006, at her residence in Tucumcari. Mrs. Keith was born May 3, 1926, in Clayton. She was a retired LPN/LVN, serving the medical profession for many years. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Mrs. Keith is survived by three sons, Frank Barker of Whittier, Calif., Richard of Weed, Calif., and Tommy of Post, Texas and two sisters Faustina and Beverly, both of California. Duane Moore, Donald Curnutt, Fred Curnutt, Jason Marrow, Michael Truesdale and Bobby Sherwood served as pallbearers. Arrangements were by Dunn Funeral Home of Tucumcari. George Clements Services: Will be held at a later date. G.W. “Buz” Clements, 67, died Tuesday, April 4, 2006, at his home in Loomis, Calif. Mr. Clements was born May 14, 1938, in Corona to Julian and Jennie Lee Clements. Mr. Clements is survived by his wife, Lucreita of Loomis, Calif.; two sons, Everett (wife Sherrie) of Nevada and Julian (Sherrie) of California; a daughter, Kathy (Ryan) Hatfield of Texas; a sister, Patsy (Lloyd) McCargish of Portales and 10 grandchildren. Arrangements are by Chapel of the Valley Funeral Home of Sacramento, Calif.
