The following is a sample of calls received by Tucumcari police during the last few days. According to the reports: Tuesday • At 12:35 p.m., a female reported a problem with neighbors on South Eighth Street. People hired to do yardwork for the neighbors were teasing the caller’s dog, and were told to stop. • At 1:36 p.m., a female reported harassment at a hotel. The caller said she had been “flipped off” by two people and wanted the incident on record. • At 2:41 p.m., a female requested a welfare check on South Monroe Street. A man was found lying in the alley and was told to move along. • At 3:42 p.m., a female reported attempted fraud on Fourth Street. A man had tried to fraudulently use the caller’s bank card. The business stopped the transaction and notified the caller. Wednesday • At 7:45 a.m., a female reported a suspicious subject at a school building. The man said he was waiting for his sister. • At 4:13 p.m., an officer reported a disturbance at a park. A man was trying to instigate a fight with an off-duty officer. The man was arrested for disorderly conduct and assaulting a peace officer. • At 4:22 p.m., a female reported a dog bite on Monroe Street. A dog bit a man in the groin. Citations were issued for animal at large and vicious animal. • At 5:23 p.m., a female reported an accident on Rock Island. The driver swerved to avoid an oncoming car, went off of the road and hit a fence. • At 8:13 p.m., a female reported suspicious subjects at a school. The person was doing a building check and saw three teens running away. The three were not found. • At 9:35 p.m., a female requested a welfare check at West High Street. The caller believed the resident at the address had passed out. • At 11:40 p.m., a male reported a theft on Smith Avenue. A black electric guitar was reported stolen and recovered two hours later. Thursday • At 5:17 a.m., an officer reported a broken window at a former place of business. A 2-by-4 window had been broken. • At 8:35 a.m., a male reported larceny at a department store. The caller reported 11 propane tanks worth $550 were stolen. • At 4:21 p.m., a man reported damage to a vehicle on Hancock Avenue. Another vehicle hit his car sometime during the day
