Jimmy Mirabel Services: 10 a.m. today at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Amarillo. Jimmy Joe Mirabal, 48, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, December 6, 2005, in Amarillo. He was born April 29, 1957, in Tucumcari. He was an insurance agent who also served with the U.S. Marine Reserves. He married Maria Cruz on June 2, 2001, in Amarillo. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Julian and Simon Mirabal, and his parents, Henry and Mary Mirabal. He is survived by his wife; daughter Martina Mirabal of Amarillo; three sons, Jimmy Lee, Javan Mirabal and Marcus Mirabal, all of Amarillo; two stepdaughters, Brenda Guerrero of Dalhart and Debbie Martinez of Lubbock; one stepson, Johnny Guerrero of Amarillo; four brothers, Henry (and wife, Sylvia) Mirabal of Lubbock; Eddie (Merlinda) Mirabal and Richard (Ann) Mirabal, all of Albuquerque; and Jerry (Jody) Mirabal of Del Rio; five sisters, Louisa Dolly, Carol (Raymond) Pacheco, Mary Ellen Mirabal, Yolanda (Anton) Apodaca, all of Amarillo, Sylvia (Johnny) Velasquez of Portales; and four grandchildren, Matthew and Dallon of Dalhart and Jacie and Kyle of Amarillo. The Church of Jesus of Latter Day Saints is located at 2101 N. Coulter; Brock Lovett will officiate. Burial will follow in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Amarillo. Services pending Jennie Lou Fields of Tucumcari died Friday, Dec. 9, 2005, in Tucumcari. Arrangements will be announced by Dunn Funeral Home of Tucumcari. Lavarne Williams, 85, of Clovis, died Monday, Dec. 5, 2005, at Retirement Ranch in Clovis. Arrangements will be announced by Steed-Todd Funeral Home of Clovis.
