Clark Price Services: Have been held. Clark Albert Price, 90, died on Oct. 27, 2005, in Muleshoe. He was born on Sept. 4, 1915, in Union County and attended the Big Spring School near Clayton. He was a veteran of the Army during WWII, serving as a mechanic in North Africa, France and Italy. After leaving the service, he married Mary Matilda “Mae” Burns on Feb. 1, 1946, in Manchester, Conn. They made their home in Clayton where Price worked as a self-employed rancher and general handyman, as he was among the first to wire homes for electricity in their community. The couple retired and moved to Muleshoe in 1981. His wife died in 1988. Price then married Hazel Satterfield Ward on Jan. 14, 1989, in Muleshoe. She died in 1996. He is survived by one son, Arnold James Price (and wife, Kristy) of Muleshoe; two grandsons, Kermit Price (Jennifer) of Idalou, Texas, and Westin Price, currently touring Europe; one grand-daughter, Lark Price of Lubbock; and two great grand-daughters, Acadia Kristine Price of Lubbock and Bandera Sioux Price of Idalou. He is also survived by one sister, Molly Anna Price Hess of Vale, Oregon, and several nieces and nephews.
