Grace Carmen McMillan, 91 of Andover, Kan., died Friday, April 15, 2005, at the Life Care Center in Andover. She was born on Jan. 29, 1914, in Burleson County near Caldwell, Texas, to Faris Jackson and Mamie Fine Terry. She married H.F. McMillan on Oct. 4, 1931, in Clovis. She was a homemaker. Family members said she loved gardening and drawing. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Boyd McMillan; a sister; and four brothers. Survivors include three daughters, Sarah Newcomb (and husband, Bill) of Midland, Texas, Carmen Phillips of Wichita, Kan., and Terry McMillan of Canyon Lake, Texas; a son, Wesley McMillan of Clovis; a step-son, T.O. McMillan of Fritch, Texas; a sister, Ramona Novak of Lubbock; twelve grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Roy Roach will officiate the services. Visitation was 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. Monday at Muffley Funeral Home in Clovis. Services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mission Garden of Memories in Clovis. Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis.
