Nola Schubert Nola Schubert, 86, died in New Braunfels, Texas on Feb. 28, 2005 following an extended illness. Schubert was born Feb. 4, 1919 in Sagerton, Texas. She was a retired registered nurse. She was preceded in death by her husband Quintas Mathis Schubert in 1991. Survivors include a son Marshall Schubert (and wife Julie) of New Braunfels, one sister Lilly Huff of Tucumcari; one nephew, George Huff (Nancy) of Kileen, Texas; and a niece Karen Stein Daniel (Wayne) of Albuquerque. Grave side funeral services are scheduled for Monday morning in the Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery in Tucumcari. >b> Florencio Sandoval Florencio Sandoval “Lencho,” 79, died at his home on March 2, 2005 in Tucumcari. Sandoval was born on Aug. 25, 1925 in Dahlia. He worked at the Valley Gold Dairy near Albuquerque for a number of years, but he spent most of his life as a resident of teh Tucumcari area. He was a member of the Baptist Church. Sandoval was preceded in death by his parents Pedro and Dulcinea Sandoval; three brothers, Jose, Christian and Pedro Sandoval; and two sisters Ursula Montoya and Adela Duran. Survivors include two daughters, Carrie Santiago and Mary Montoya, both of Albuquerque; five sons, Richard, George, Bernie, Joseph and Sam Sandoval, all of Albuquerque; his former wife, Petra Sandoval; 15 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; his sister Louise Lucero of Tucumcari and numerous nieces and nephews including Irene Segura of Tucumcari. Services will be today at 10 a.m. in the Dunn Memorial Chapel with burial to follow in the Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery.
