Elementary school releases attendance lists

Tucumcari Elementary School recently recognized students with perfect attendance in kindergarten through second grade for the first nine weeks. 100 % Attendance: The preschool classes of Mrs. Bowen, Mrs. Martinez and Mrs. Buxton had 21 students with perfect attendance. In Mrs. Bowen’s class were Sydney Goldston, Caleb Nemrow, Samuel Nemrow, Cheyenne Horne, Taylor Gilmore, Michael Apodaca and Rod Dunlap. Mrs. Martinez’s class had Jessyka Welshenbaugh, Andrew Apodaca, Bailee Griess, Sarah Hoffner, Travis Kostedt and Malachi Anaya. Mrs. Buxton’s perfect attendance included Garrett Posinski, Jazmin Patel, Kaylee Epperson, Seth Martinez, Darpan Patel, Chris Murray, Dwight Brown and Kyiason Stone. Among the kindergarten classes, Mrs. Cantrell’s perfect attendance students included Gabriela Aguilar, Kaitlyn Dougherty, Jordan Fang, Emily Griego, Nicole Griggs, Gabriela Gutierrez and SaBrea Skinner. In Mrs. Modisette’s kindergarten class were Brenna Benton, Jordyn Diaz, Samantha Ford, Ryanne Hatfield, Kyle Lopez and Sean Murray. Mrs. Caton’s class had Nicholas Andrada, Alec Cassidy, Ashle Hoffner, George Molinas and Jerry Brown. In Mrs. Spinks’ class, Zachary Martinez, Cuin Mendez and James Griego had perfect attendance. Among the first grade students were Aleahna Branch, Kinley Jaynes, Brandi Kingston and Mercedes Welch. in Mrs. Colebank’s class. Kaitlyn Sena and Rumour Valverde were the two students with perfect attendance in Mrs. Hicklin’s class. In the first grade class of Mrs. Frost and Mrs. Hodges, students with perfect attendance included Gilbert Garcia, Ashley Jones, Samantha Kostedt, Dillon Massey and Alex Mills. Dominic Aragon, Noah Marquez and Domanic Ortiz had perfect attendance in Mr. Mardo’s class. Mrs. O’Rear’s students with perfect attendance include Francine Galvan, Cellisha Martinez and DeeAndra Montano. In the second grade, Ms. Mate had three students with perfect attendance - James Gagne, Gabriel Molinas and Katherine Sena. Mrs. Grose’s class had Daniel Blea, Marcus Chavez, Lacey Mullenix, Lee Powers, Robert Roark and Mateo Romero. Martha Aceves, Laura Evans and Zachery Woodrum had perfect attendance in Mrs. McFarland’s second grade class. Ms. Waters’ perfect attendance students included Daniel Amparano, Paul Arguello, Sean Austin, Kali Gresham, Crystal Hernandez and Jeremy Warren. 94% ATTENDANCE: Tucumcari Schools also recognized students in kindergarten through second grade with 94 percent attendance. In Mrs. Bowen’s preschool class were Gavin Pate, Alex Gutierrez, Xavier Garcia, Ashley Shipley and Gracie Whitson. Students with 94 percent attendance in Mrs. Martinez’s class included Reid Posinski, Hayden Modisette, Falyn Benavidez, Austin Kinkel, Dalton Murray and Amaya Munoz. In Mrs. Buxton’s class were Jordyn Stowe, Jerry Jaramillo and Jordan Martinez. Among the kindergarten classes, Mrs. Spinks’ class had 13 students with 94 percent attendance: Katrina Abbey, Celina Acosta, Joseph Benavidez, Shiv Bhakta, Andrew Brito, Kayla Cherry, Anna Elebario, Zakery Light, Sadie Lucas, Destinee Montano, Jamie Schmidt, Michael Shelton and Bethany Watkins. In Mrs. Cantrell’s class were Joshua Burns, Tessa Davis, Matthew Dyke, James Ellis, Marissa Garcia, Gabriel Perez, Avery Shipley, Lorena Velasquez and Summer John. Mrs. Modisette’s students with 94 percent attendance included Juan Aceves, Julee Alden, Santiago Alires, Ambrose Aragon, Shant Bhakta, Mark Carabajal, LaZara Garcia, Cristal Hernandez, Jeri Anne Marez and McKenna Stone. In Mrs. Caton’s kindergarten class were Steven Chaney, Sabrina Eddins, Kaycee Lease, Brianna Lucero, Davon Oldham, Trestin Peterson, Dominic Blea, Destiny Lucero and Brett Montague. Among the first grade classes, three different classrooms had ten students with 94 percent attendance. In Mrs. Colebank’s class were Wyatt Bishop, Clay Carter, Melissa Gardea, Stephen Leyva, Paul Lucero, Devanie Martinez, Michael Prieto, Brandon Romero, Drestyn Teel and Joseph White. In Mrs. Hicklin’s class were Viraj Bhakta, Ashlee Bradley, Damian Dominguez, Tyler Ferguson, Marcus Gonzales, Nathaniel Lopez, Robert Marez, Justin Phillips, Emily Quintana, and McKaela Risner. In Mrs. Frost’s and Mrs. Hodges’ class were Adam Apodaca, Cyann Armijo, John Fought, Emma Garcia, John Paul Garcia, Yasmine Maestas, Daniel Martinez, Isaac Martinez, Susan Martinez and Alejandro Quintana. Mrs. O’Rear’s first grade class had eight students with perfect attendance: Ronald Carmichael, Jordan Garcia, Carlos Infante III, Daniel Lopez, Travis Pate, Brittany Reed, Andreas Anaya and Lowen Munsell. In Mr. Mardo’s class were Lawrence Chavez, Eric Lopez, Andrea Martinez and A.J. Pacheco. Among the second grade classes, Ms. Mate had twelve students with 94 percent attendance: Benjamin Aragon, Jill Coyazo, Maresha Crutcher, Mikyla Galvan, Kaylee Garcia, Kylee Garcia, Destinee Kelly, Alijah Martinez, Antonio Ochoa, Johnathan Preciado, Katrina Smith and Dominic Trujillo. Ms. Waters’ second grade class also had twelve students with 94 percent attendance: Daeja Apodaca, Destiny Bolin, Janelle Coyazo, Breanna Ellis, Rosario Lucero, Saul Moriel, Anthony Ramirez, Isaiah Romero, Mary Romero, D’Ontee Sandoval, Javier Villanueva and Ellena Jimenez. In Ms. Grose’s class were Antonio Apodaca, Jomichael Baca, Kevin Blea, Nathaniel Martinez, Gale Munsell, Desmond Nathan, Michael Sandoval, Kyeli Stowe and Estevan Villanueva. Students with 94 percent attendance in Mrs. McFarland’s second grade class included Alonso Cordova, Santiago Elebario, Rebecca Gray, Shayan Patel, Gabriel Smith, Maribel Villa and Gabby Fletcher.
