Eva Faye Elebario Eva Faye Elebario, 69, died Thursday, Dec.16, 2004 of cancer. Eva Elebario was born April 1, 1935 to Emery and Zola Bashar. She was preceded in death by her parents of Cavalier, North Dakota and a son Bobby Slagerman of Bloomington, Calif. She is survived by her husband Robert Elebario of Tucumcari; three daughters Glenda Sheddan of Ozark, Ark., Patricia Morgan of Bloomington, Calif, and Cheryl Austin of Brownsville, Tenn.; one son David Slagerman of Hesperia, Calif. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Dec. 29 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Burial of her ashes will take place at Green Acres Memorial Park and Mortuary in Bloomington. Ora E. Miller Meeks Ora E. Miller Meeks, 91, died at the Autumn Blessings Assisted Living in Logan Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2004 following an extended illness. Ora“Miller Meeks was born Dec. 13, 1913 at Alfafa, Okla. She and her family moved to the Forrest community in 1918. She attended and graduated from the Forrest School System in 1930 and received her college education fro Highlands University in Las Vegas. She then taught school in both elementary and high school in the Logan Public School System. She met and married her husband George Meeks in 1934. She was a member of the Logan Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband George in 2000. She is survived by four nephews and numerous friends and former students. Services will be today (Saturday) at 2 p.m. at the Logan Church of Christ with Stanley Newton and Harry Gipson officiating. Following the services, internment will take place at Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery. Rose Henderson Rose Henderson, 72, died Monday, Dec. 14, 2004 in Laurel Hills Health Center in Tucumcari. Rose Henderson was born Nov. 2, 1932 in Puerto de Luna. She had been a long-time resident of Tucumcari moving from Puerto de Luna with her family in 1947. She was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Walter S. and Maria P. Henderson. She is survived by four brothers: Maximillano Henderson, Walter Henderson and John Henderson all of Tucumcari and Gracian Henderson of California; one sister, Sadie Cortez of California. Rosary was recited Friday evening at St. Anne’s Catholic Church. A Mass of Resurrection was offered this morning (Saturday) at St. Anne’s with the Rev. Fr. Leo Padget officiating. Following the service the body was interred at Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery. Alfredo Gonzales Alfredo Gonzales, 89, died at the Laurel Hills Health in Tucumcari on Monday, Dec. 13, 2004 following an extended illness. Alfredo Gonzales was born May 29, 1915 at Garita. He had been a ranch hand working on the T-4 Cattle Company for many years. He was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife Maria in 1994 and by brothers Max Gonzales, Valentine Gonzales and Domingo Gonzales. His parents also preceded him in death. He was survived by: two daughters, Lucy Lucero (Ernie) and Irene Gonzales of Albuquerque and one sister-in-law, Isabel Gonzales of Tucumcari. Rosary was said Thursday evening at St. Anne’s. A mass of Resurrection was offered on Friday morning with the Rev. Fr. Leo Paget as Celebrant. Burial followed at Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery.
