Senior Center holds party
Published: Wednesday, October 27th, 2004
According to members of the Pioneer Senior Citizens Center on South Third Street, the center is hosting a Halloween party at 2 p.m. Friday.
Ruby Bonds, one of the party’s chief organizers, said a fun time is guaranteed for all.
“We will have games, costume contests and refreshments including a ‘ghoulish’ punch.,” said Bonds. “The center is already decorated for Halloween and we will have Halloween music playing.”
Bonds said she looks forward to seniors bringing their grandchildren to the party.
“We get about 25 people or more attending the monthly tea parties, so we are expecting a lot more for the Halloween party.”
The public is welcome. A $1 donation will gain admission to the party.
