Coyotes lose to Patriots

The San Jon High School football team stormed to a 32-6 lead against San Jacinto Christian Academy Friday afternoon, but the Coyotes ran out of steam in the second half, losing 64-32.
Things looked bright for the Coyotes when Trey Rusk broke for a 30-yard touchdown on San Jon’s first possession. Tyler Adams soon scored on a fumbled kickoff and quarterback Jonathan Brashear hit Albert Hood in the end zone for a 70-yard Touchdown pass.
Jason Bell intercepted for a touchdown as the Coyotes went up 32-6. From then on it was all San Jacinto. San Jon coach Eric River summed up the game.
“I think our guys just ran out of energy,” he said.
