The video moment of the fair will likely be the Pet Parade on Saturday, Aug. 21, at 1 p.m. in the Show Arena hosted by the newest 4-H club in Quay County, the Quay Broncs. Children up to 12 may enter their pets in the parade. Pets range from dogs and cats to more unusual pets such as turtles or goats. All pets must be on a leash or in a cage. Each entrant will need to know their name, their pet’s name, and if the pet does a trick. Children under two may bring their favorite stuffed toy to the parade.
