Rex B. Foote Rex B. Foote, 84, died in Tucumcari on Monday July 19, 2004 following an extended illness. Rex Foote was born Dec. 3, 1919 in Orlando, Okla. He was a farmer in the Tucumcari area for many years. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He is Survived by one brother, Dean Foote of Bakersfield, Calif.; three sisters, Doris Bugg of Raton, Clara Wiseman Moore of Morrison, Okla. and Dorothy Williams of Perry, Okla. He is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. His body has been cremated. A grave-side memorial service is scheduled for Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery. Norma Jean Baum Gray Norma Jean Baum Gray, 51, died July 22, 2004 in Amarillo. Gray was born November 2, 1952 in Tucumcari where she was the owner of Country Sunset and Cloud Nine Ceramics. Gray is survived by her daughter, Cindy Edwards Arias (Andrew) of Amarillo, her stepson, Wayne Gray (Stephanie), and her brother Bill Baum (Goldie) of Tucumcari. She is also survived by one granddaughter, one grandson and a nephew. Gray was preceded in death by her parents, Norman Kenneth and Billie Jean Baum. Memorial services will be conducted today at 2 p.m. in the Dunn Memorial Chapel with Rev. Bob Miller officiating. The body has been cremated and will be interred in Tucumcari Memorial Park following the memorial services.
