Arliegh E. Richmond Arliegh E. Richmond, 72, died in Logan Thursday, July 1, 2004 following an extended illness. Arliegh Richmond was born Aug. 28, 1931 in Phoenix, Ariz. He was retired from a life-time career in law enforcement. He had among responsibilities served as the chief deputy of Navajo County Sheriff’s Office, he was also the under sheriff of Maricopa County, Ariz. and had been a Lieutenant of the Arizona Livestock Commission. He had also served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Richmond of Logan; two sons, Michael Richmond (Mary) of Grantsville, Utah and Mark Richmond (Kathy) of Belen; two daughters, Karen Griffin (Don) of Farmington and Kathy Miller (Tony) of Holbrook, Ariz.; on brother, Mickey Richmond of Buckeye, Ariz.; and his mother Mary Richmond of Tucumcari. Services will be conducted today (Saturday, July 3) at 2:30 p.m. at the Melrose Cemetery in Melrose. Burial will follow. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
