Colton Anthony Schweizer Colton Anthony Schweizer, 8, died April 2 in an automobile accident near Raton. Schweizer was born Jan. 15, 1996 in Aurora, Colo. Schweizer is survived by his parents, Jeffrey and Stacia Schweizer of Aurora, Colo. Schweizer is also survived by his brother, Charles, and his grandparents, George and Joyce Shelley Ervin of Logan. Funeral services were held April 8 at Heritage Christian Center in Denver. Burial followed in St. Simeon Cemetery, Aurora, Colo. -------------- Merlin Engesser Merlin Engesser, 63, of Conchas Dam died Feb. 23. He was formerly married to Mary (Rolling) Dec. 28, 1963 Merlin Engesser was a member of the Big Mesa Water Co-op for six years and the American Legion for 10 years. He worked at the New Mexico State Park Division for 11 years and retired in 2001. He is survived by a son Mark Engesser (Tanya) and Margaret Bornitz (Bill) and seven grand children. Services were held in Tracy, Minn. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on March 20. The American Legion in Conchas held a memorial service for him on March 21. ---------
