Lillian Brooks McCoy

Lillian Brooks McCoy, 77, died March 31, 2004 in Fort Davis, Texas. McCoy was born Jan. 22, 1927 in Tucumcari where she was a member of the United Methodist Church, the American Cattlewomen and 4-H. McCoy is survived by three daughters, Lee Ann (Rick) Tate of Marfa, Texas, Jean (David) Lee of Lamar, Colo., Kathy (Eddie) Rossman of Tulsa, Okla., and one son, Jimmy (Rene) McCoy of Roswell. She is also survived by five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. McCoy was preceded in death by her father, James Henry Brooks, her mother, Lola Rebecca Swain, her step-mother, Mae Brooks and her sister, Wilma Stratton. Memorial services were conducted Friday, 2 p.m., at Central United Methodist church in Albuquerque. The family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of one’s choice.
