The following is a sample of calls received by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department, during the last few days. According to reports: Thursday l At 6:57 p.m., a female reported vandalism at her residence on North First Street. An officer advised that three windows had been broken out of the residence. An investigation is underway. l At 7:35 p.m., a male reported a runaway juvenile on East Hancock. An officer located the juvenile and transported him to the Curry County Detention Center. Friday l At 11:42 a.m., a female reported a juvenile with an active warrant out of Lovington. An officer located the juvenile and transported him back to Lovington. Saturday l At 10:13 a.m., an alarm was reported at a state office on South Lake Street. Officers checked the building and all was secure and the alarm was reset. l At 11:12 a.m., a male reported vandalism at a business on South Third Street. An officer advised that a cement block had been thrown through the door of the building. An investigation is underway. l At 6:22 p.m., a male reported vandalism at a business on South Second Street. An officer advised that the front door of the business had been shot out. A report was filed. Sunday l At 1:54 a.m., a traffic stop at the corner of Seventh and Aber streets lead to the arrest of a male for aggravated DWI, no insurance, open container and DUI. l At 9:08 a.m., a male reported a theft on South Fourth Street. An officer was told that a tricycle had been taken from the back yard sometime during the night. An investigation is underway. l At 3:34 p.m., a female reported a shoplifter at a retail store on East Tucumcari Boulevard. The subject left prior to the arrival of the officer and a description of the shoplifter was given to the officer. A report was filed. l At 9:58 p.m., a female reported a disturbance at an apartment on South Seventh Street. An officer was told that several juveniles were jumping on a vehicle in the parking lot and left prior to the officer's arrival. A report was filed. l At 11:52 p.m., a female reported suspicious activity on East Barnes. The female told the officer that someone was banging on her door then leaving. An officer patrolled the area but had no contact with the subject.
