Lisa Marie Henry Lisa Marie Henry, one day old, died Monday, May 12, 2003. The daughter of Clifton and Kimberly Henry of Amarillo, Texas, she was born May 12, 2003, in Amarillo. Services were this morning at Christian Lighthouse Church with the Rev. Jackie Findley officiating. Along with her parents, she is survived by her grandparents, Larry and Karen Lucius of Amarillo and Allen and Cindy Covington of Amarillo and her great-grandparents, Wilma Covington of Chino, Calif. and Gloria Sanchez, Riverside, Calif. Nancy Bonds Nancy Bonds, 68, died Saturday morning, May 10, 2003, in the Van Ark Care Center following an extended illness. Born May 15, 1934, in Rockford, Ill., she had made her home in Tucumcari for many years. She had worked as a secretary and served as the health registrar for Quay County for a number of years. She was a member of the Lutheran Church. She is survived by her husband, Bob Bonds, Tucumcari; two sons: David Stahl and wife, Lou Ann, Los Alamos; Dale Stahl and wife, Kim, Phoenix; a step-daughter: LaJuana Hart and husband, Marshall, Tucumcari; a brother: Roger Ross, San Jose, Calif.; and five grandchildren. The body has been cremated. Services will be announced later. Ollie Mae Wisdom Ollie Mae Wisdom, 85, died suddenly on Tuesday evening, May 13, 2003. Born Sept. 15, 1917, in Houston, she had made her home in Tucumcari for the past 5 1/2 years with her sister, Anna Hutchinson. She was a member of the Baptist Church in Livingston, Texas. She is survived by her sister, Anna Hutchinson and husband, Harold, Tucumcari; Marguerite Curtis, Kerrville, Texas; and a brother: Ernest R. Gaston, Bearn, La. Graveside services were this morning at the Grady Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Bowman officiating. Philip M. Wiegel Philip M. Wiegel, 82, died Tuesday, May 13, 2003, while playing golf at the Tucumcari Municipal Golf Course. The son of Perry and Anna Wiegel, he was born April 15, 1921 in Elizabeth, Penn., he came to New Mexico to attend the University of New Mexico and play football for the Lobos. While at UNM, he married Cora Collins in April 1943. Shortly thereafter, he joined the U.S. Navy during World War II and piloted a landing craft on D-Day at Utah Beach. In 1945, he returned to Tucumcari and became the area distributor for the Continental Oil Company. He was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church and the Tucumcari Elks Lodge and had served as the BPOE exalted ruler in 1956 After Cora died in 1967, he married Doraeen Brissey in 1971. He is survived by his wife, of Tucumcari, sons: Philip and wife, BernaDette, Santa Fe; C.J. and wife, Audrey, Tucumcari; a daughter: Debbie Morris, Albuquerque; a sister: Jane and husband, Milton Oliver, Florida; brothers: Paul Wiegel and wife, Rosemary, Minnesota; William Wiegel and wife, Sarah, Texas; sisters-in-law: Mary Madeline Wiegel, California; Phyllis Collins, El Paso, Texas; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister Marie, brothers James, George, Robert, Ted, Vince and Charles. Rosary was Thursday evening and funeral Mass was Friday afternoon at St. Anne’s Catholic Church. Pallbearers were Phillip Bidegain, Curtis Rook, Fred Barnett, Jeff Lewalling, Darryl Rigdon, Rick Marrano, Gary Lee and Larry Roybal. The family suggests memorials to the Dr. Dan C. Trigg Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, P.O. Box 608, Tucumcari, NM 88401.
