Last time out: Portales lost to St. Pius 43-33 last Wednesday. Artesia beat Lovington 52-44 on Saturday.
Last meeting: The Rams won 55-48 in last week’s Stu Clark Invitational at Las Vegas, N.M.
What to expect: Portales coach Mark Gallegos said the Rams have been working to correct some of the mistakes they made in the first meeting.
“After you play at team the first time your able to go back and watch on video and make adjustments,” he said. “We’re basically going to mix up our defense a little more to keep them off balance.”
Notes: Portales is 2-3 against the Bulldogs since 2005-06 season, but last week’s win snapped a three-game losing streak to Artesia for the Rams.
