Difference: The Foxes jumped out to a 47-0 halftime lead and coasted to victory.
Difference-makers: Running back Skylar McMath socred three touchdowns and rushed for 80 yards, while QB Kolter West threw for three touchdowns
Of note: Fort Sumner bounced back from a 56-0 loss at Hagerman last week, its worst loss since losing by the same score to the Bobcats in 1991. … The Foxes finished second to Hagerman in the district and had already clinched a berth in the six-team Class 1A playoffs.

Elida 65, Dora 18
Records:
Dora 3-5, Elida 4-4.
Difference: Junior Kevin Mitchell scored six touchdowns and rushed for 257 yards as the Tigers avenged a 41-32 loss to Dora on Sept. 30.
Difference-makers: Elida, Shane Mitchell scored on a 15-yard fumble return, while Tyrell King scooped up a third-quarter onside kick by Dora and returned it 30 yards for a touchdown.Shane Mitchell threw a 2-yard TD pass to Tyrell King, while Daniel Lopez scored his first touchdown of the season on an 8-yard run in the third quarter. Dora, Mark Butler threw scoring passes to Chase Varnell, Anthony Pena and Jestin Watson to account for all of the Coyotes’ points.
Of note: It was the last game of the season for both teams.

Bovina 21, Vega 7
Records:
Vega 1-8 (0-4 District 3-1A), Bovina 7-2 (2-1).
Difference: Defense. Bovina held the Longhorns scoreless after a first-quarter touchdown. Meantime, Frankie Guevara scored twice, including a 1-yard pass play from Ricardo Delarosa on the first play of the final period to finally put the Mustangs in front.
Difference-makers: Guevera rushed for 127 yards on 14 carries to highlight an otherwise sluggish night on offense for the Mustangs.
Of note: The win clinches a playoff berth for the Mustangs, who end the regular season next week at White Deer.

Dimmitt at Muleshoe
Records:
Dimmitt 1-8 (1-3 District 2-2A), Muleshoe 9-0 (4-0).
Difference: The Mules, the defending Texas Class 2A Division I champions, used a balanced attack to outgain Dimmitt 502-151 and rolled into halftime with a 42-0 lead.
Difference-makers: Senior QB Jared Skipworth completed 16-of-27 passes for 269 yards and five touchdowns, throwing scoring passes to four receivers. RB Isaac Baca rushed for 114 yards and a touchdown and also caught two passes for 32 yards and a score.
Of note: Muleshoe, currently ranked fourth in 2A, won its 24th game in a row. The Mules play at Friona next week to determine the district champion.
