Notes — The game was a playoff for the top seed in the district tournament after both teams went 5-1 in district play. … Posada, a sophomore, hit the game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer in the second OT on a play designed for Bailey. With Texico trailing by two, the Wolverines called timeout with six seconds left. Bailey got the ball in the corner, but was covered and found Posada open at the top of the key. … Santa Rosa missed two 1-and-1 opportunities with a chance to ice it in the final 30 seconds of the second OT. … Wolverines coach Richard Luscombe said neither team led by more than four points. “I’m just proud of the kids for their effort,” he said. “We didn’t play exceptionally well at all, but we found a way to get it done.” … Fourth-seeded Tucumcari travels to No. 3 Clayton tonight, with that winner going to Santa Rosa on Thursday.
