Scholarship night approaches

Tucumcari High School scholarship night takes place at 6 p.m., Thursday at the Tucumcari Auditorium.

Banquet tickets available now

The Tucumcari High School Athletic Banquet will be held May 23, 6 p.m. at the Tucumcari Convention Center. There will be a brisket dinner and dessert. All tickets are $15 and must be purchased by 5 p.m., May 20. There will be no tickets sold at the door. Tickets may be purchased at the High School, Tucumcari General Insurance, Citizens Bank and Bob's Budget Pharmacy. For more information, call CJ Wiegel at 461-1623.

Commodity distribution nears

Commodities will be distributed Wednesday, from 8-11 a.m. and from 1-3 p.m. at the Travis Nelson Building. The distribution will be on the north side of the exhibit building at the fairgrounds. Name, address and proof of income are requirements to qualify for receiving commodities. Please bring boxes and plastic bags.
