City workers close road

The City of Tucumcari will be working on Date Street to provide improvements to the water and wastewater systems. Due to this work, the following road closure will occur: Date Street from Tucumcari Boulevard to McGee Street will be closed for approximately the next two weeks, until March 11. The City of Tucumcari apologizes for any inconvenience this causes and wishes to thank residents for their patience while the improvements take place.

DelNorte Center hosts dance

Spring weather can’t come soon enough, so to usher in Spring the DelNorte Center would like to celebrate with Tucumcari by having a free Spring dance. all of Tucumcari’s friends and neighbors are welcome to come and dance to the Tejano sounds from Amarillo’s Diluvio. The dance will be Saturday, 8 p.m. until midnight at the DelNorte Center, 400 N. Fourth Street. Appetizers will be available. For more information, call 505-359-4817.
