Clint Mayer was appointed as the new city information officer and discussed the master plan with mayor Grady Huffman and Chamber of Commerce President John Nunn. The plan outlined Mayer’s strategy to bring more business to Tucumcari.
Officer Ruben Dominguez of the Tucumcari police department examined the tools used by four teens that were arrested. The tools were used by four juveniles to slash tires and break windows in a vandalism spree that the department was investigating.
Teacher Elvin Criswell and his student Charlie Best of the Buena Vista Elementary School were presented a certificate of appreciation from Kenneth Schlientz with the Tucumcari branch of the March Of Dimes for their donation to the organization.
