Mr. and Mrs. Franklin McCasland and Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Sims would like to announce the upcoming marriage of their children, Jennifer Renee and Joshua Burl. The ceremony will be at 6 p.m. Jan. 1, New Year's night at the First Baptist Church. The reception will follow immediately at the Tucumcari Convention Center. Mr. and Mrs. Martinez would like to announce the birth of their son, Alejandro Gabriel Martinez, born Oct. 26. He weighed 9 pounds, 14 ounces.  He was welcomed home by his brother Juan and sister Anjelika Martinez.

Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Jones would like to announce the birth of their granddaughter, Annalise Kaylene Kock,  born Dec. 12. Annalise weighed 8 pounds, 4 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long. Annalise's parents are Jearad Thomas Koch and Alexandria Renee Martinez, both of Tucumcari.
