Republicans holding meeting

The Republican Party of Quay County will have a meeting Friday. The meeting will be from noon until 1 p.m. in the back forty room of K-Bob’s. John Sanchez, New Mexico lieutenant governor candidate, will speak at the meeting.

Fun run T-shirtsready for pickup

T-shirts are in for “Get Moving Tucumcari” Fun Run/Walk participants. Shirts can be picked up at the Quay County Extension Office from 8 a.m. until noon and from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m.

Local VFW post hosts carnival

Halloween carnival: 11 - 4 pm.

VFW Post 2528, 105 East Main St.

Admission is one can of food or $1 per family.
