Mesalands Community College’s rodeo team recently competed at Dine’s College in Tsaile, Ariz., where the men’s team brought home a championship title and finished in second place.

 

Fran Marchand of Omak, Wash. claimed two championship titles at Dine’s College, including the Men’s All-Around title and the saddle bronc event champion title. Marchand also placed fifth in bareback riding.

 

The women’s team finished in fifth place with Shelby Rita of Sunset Beach, Hawaii placing seventh in team roping.
