The Tucumcari Lady Rattlers (6-7) lost in 3 to the Texico Lady Wolverines (16-1) Tuesday night at the Snake Pit. The sets, 25-4, 25-14 and 25-7, were largely controlled by Lady Wolverine hitters. Lady Wolverine Jaylyn Cooper had 10 kills, Delanie Crist had six kills and Jordan Cooper had four kills. The Lady Rattlers, who are 0-3 in district 4-2A, will host Melrose at 1 p.m. Saturday and the Lady Wolverines (6-0) will travel to play Clayton at 2 p.m. Saturday.
