• George Montano, first-team defense kick returner

• Jakus Martinez, second-team offense wide receiver and second-team defense defensive back

• Alex Hutchins, honorable mention offense quarterback.

Baseball

• The Tucumcari Rattlers swept Grady, 17-0 and 20-3, during a doubleheader Monday at Grady. The Rattlers are 13-3 for the season, 4-0 in district play. Their next game is at 2 p.m. Friday, a doubleheader against the (0-10) (0-3) Logan Longhorns at Logan.

Softball

• The Tucumcari Lady Rattlers lost a doubleheader, 29-17 and 28-26, to the Portales Lady Rams JV on Friday. The Lady Rattlers are 2-5 for the season. Their next game is at 3 p.m. Thursday, a doubleheader at Pecos.
