Roundup: Tucumcari, Logan and House all added another win to their seasons on Friday. The Rattlers beat West Las Vegas, 27-0. Logan trounced Gateway Christian, 30-12 and House edged New Mexico School for the Deaf, 14-13. San Jon lost to Dora, 20-19.
Stars: Rattlers wideout Jakus Martinez caught two touchdown passes from quarterback Alex Hutchins and returned an interception for a touchdown. ... Logan senior Truitt Frost had two interceptions and Logan sophomore Tanner Sorrels had one interception. Logan senior Blake Strack dominated on the ground, scoring two touchdowns in the first half and two more in the second half.

As it stands: Tucumcari and Logan are 3-0. San Jon is 1-1. House is 2-1.
Must improve: Tucumcari scored a victory last week, but only completed 29 percent of its offensive goals, Rattlers’ Coach Daniel Hutchins said. “We have to do better. We can do better. We will do better,” Hutchins said.
What’s next: Tucumcari hosts Capitan at 7 p.m. Friday in its homecoming. Key to the game: “We cannot look past them,” Coach Hutchins said. “They are a far better team than reflected by their 1-2 record. Last year they beat us twice by 20 points.”
Logan is at Bataan Military Academy at 7 p.m. Friday. “We are going to play smash-mouth football,” Frost said.
House hosts Vaughn at 4 p.m. Friday. San Jon is at Hondo Valley at 5 p.m. Friday.
