This fishing report from June 9 has been generated from the best information available from officers and anglers. Conditions encountered after the report is compiled may differ, however, as stream, lake and weather conditions alter fish and angler activities.

Conchas Lake
 Fishing was good using tubes, crank baits, grubs, top water lures and minnows for white bass. Fishing was fair using jigs and minnows for crappie. Fishing was fair-to-good using grubs, tubes, worms, night crawler/spinner rigs and crank baits for walleye. Fishing was good using liver, night crawlers and dough bait for catfish. Fishing was fair using top water lures, senkos, tubes, crank baits and jerk baits for small largemouth bass and smallmouth bass.

Ute Lake
 Fishing was very good using crank baits and top water lures for white bass. Walleye fishing was fair-to-good trolling bottom bouncer/night crawler rigs and crank baits and working jig and grub combinations at depths of 10-to-30 feet. Fishing was fair using small craws, tubes, senkos, buzz baits and poppers for smallmouth bass and largemouth bass. Fishing for catfish and crappie was slow.

Catch of the Week
Ute Lake: On June 7, Kevin Bural of Amarillo, TX caught a 5.62-pound largemouth bass.
