Jose Conrado “Joe” Lujan Services: 10 a.m. a rosary will be recited and at 11 a.m. a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo. At 1:30 p.m., burial will be at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Jose Conrado “Joe” Lujan, 78, died on Wednesday, July 4, 2007. Mr. Lujan was born March 5, 1929 to Jose and Lena Lujan in Mosquero. He served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Lujan retired in 1990 from Border Machinery of Albuquerque. He was a loving and compassionate husband, father, and grandfather, who be be greatly missed, his family said. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Owen Lujan on June 13, 2004; and two sons, Lynn and Jonathan. Mr. Lujan is survived by five sons, and five daughters, James, John, Joe Jr., David, Tom, Dorothy, Catherine, Cynthia, Jo Ann and Jacque; brother, Elroy; sister, Marie; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Arrangements are by Daniels Family Funeral Services of Rio Rancho.
