Services: 10 a.m. (MST) or 11 a.m. (CDT), Monday at the Community Center in Nara Visa. Edward Earle, 79, died Thursday, June 7, 2007, at his residence in Nara Visa following an extended illness. Mr. Earle was born June 7, 1928 at Guymon, Okla. He was a longtime Nara Visa resident who had retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a contract mail carrier. He also had ranching interests. Surviving Mr. Earle are: his wife Donna Earle of Nara Visa, five sons, Randy (Martha) Earle of Morse, Texas, Marvin (Karen) Earle of Portales, N.M., and Gary (Paula) Earle, Robert (Toni) Earle and John (Beverly) Earle, all of Nara Visa, two daughters. Cathy (Jim) Ray and 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Harrison "Cotton" Earle of Tucumcari and Kenneth Earle of Amistad, N.M., and one sister, Wanda Smith of Clayton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Etta Earle, by three brothers, Dwayne, Walter and Orval Earl and by his infant son. Officiating at the service will be L.R. Haisten and Tim Ticker. Burial will be at the Fair View Cemetery, north of Nara Visa on Highway 402. Arrangements are by Dunn Funeral Home of Tucumcari.
