Services: 7 p.m., Thursday a rosary will be recited at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mosquero. At 11 a.m. on Friday, a mass of the resurrection will be celebrated at St. Joseph's. Jacob J. Trujillo, 57, died suddenly on Saturday, May 12, 2007, at his home in Mosquero. Mr. Trujillo was born March 22, 1950 in Springer. He had lived most of his live in Mosquero. He attended and graduated from the Mosquero School System. At the time of his death, he was the area maintenance supervisor for District 4 of the New Mexico Department of Transportation. He had been an active member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mosquero and had been a eucharistic minister for the parish. Surviving Mr. Trujillo are his wife, Theresa of Mosquero; two sons, Phillip and Gabriel Trujillo both of Mosquero, seven brothers, Andres Trujillo of Tucumcari, Eddie Trujillo of Brush, Colo., Richard Trujillo of Rio Rancho, N.M., Freddie Trujillo of Cimarron, N.M., Joseph Trujillo, Thomas Trujillo and Raymond Trujillo, all of Mosquero; three sisters, Rita Lind of Albuquerque, Theresa Copeland of Wheeler, Texas, and Elizabeth Trujillo of Santa Fe. Also surviving are: his parents in law, Louis J. and Eloisa Flores of Santa Rosa, brothers in law, Max (Angelica) Flores and Kenneth (Lucy) Flores, all of Santa Rosa, and Ted (Pam) Flores and Paul (Melody) Flores, both of California. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andres “Tito” and Dominga Trujillo, and by a sister, Rachel Saint. Pallbearers will be Andres, Eddie, Richard, Freddie, Joseph, Thomas and Raymond Trujillo, Max, Kenneth, Paul and Ted Flores. Honorary pallbearers will be nieces, nephews, godsons and his many friends. Burial will follow Friday's mass at the family plot at the Mosquero Cemetery. The family suggests for those who wish, donations may be made to the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mosquero in loving memory of Jacob C. Trujillo. Arrangements are by Dunn Funeral Home of Tucumcari.
