Services: 2 p.m., Tuesday at Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Donald T. Brown, 83, of Aztec died Friday, March 16, 2007, in Farmington after an extended illness. He was born Oct. 18, 1921 in Oconto, Wisc. Mr. Brown graduated from Logan High School, Logan, in 1940. He married Joyce M. Brown in 1941. Mr. Brown was employed as a diesel mechanic for the city of Tucumcari. He retired Aug. 25, 1986 after 35 years. He was also a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Aztec. Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Joyce M. Brown, two daughters, Edith (Webster) Morton of Temple City, Calif., and Margaret (Gary) Cramblit of Aztec, one sister, Loreta La Fond, six grandchildren, Jimmy Jones, Donny Jones, Shollie Munkers, Debbie Dundas, Shawn Morton and Dawn Boyle, and 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis M. Brown and Idella Bankenbush, his sisters Margaret Schefdore and Betty Engebretsen, brothers, Larry Valitchka and Bernard Brown, aunts, Olive Brown and Grace and (uncle) Arthur Brown. Bob Civil of Canyon, Texas, will officiate at the services. Pallbearers will be Gary Lawrence, Gary Cramblit, Robert Harrison, Jimmy Jones, Donny Jones and Travis Munkres. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Gideons International, 2100 E. 18 th St. Farmington, NM 87401. Arrangements are by Cope Memorial Chapel, 404 W Arrington, Farmington, New Mexico 87401.
