06-28-08: Police Blotter

 The following is a sample of calls received during the last few days by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department.  According to reports:


Tuesday
l At 1:34 a.m., an anonymous caller reported a truck with the lights on at the City Yard on East Center Street.
l At  2:10 a.m., a Tucumcari Police Officer made a routine traffic stop on South Third Street and found that the male subject had a revoked driver's license. The  subject was taken to Quay County Detention Center.
l At 4:54 p.m., an anonymous caller reported a fire North of Logan on Highway 54 overpass by train tracks. The Logan  Fire Department responded.
l At 5:28 p.m., an anonymous caller reported a domestic dispute on West Aber Street.
l At 8:19 p.m., a male subject on North Seventh Street in San Jon called the Quay County Sheriff's Department to report a domestic dispute.
l At 9:38 p.m., an employee at a business on East Tucumcari Boulevard reported that a male subject had been asking customers for money all day. Officers advised they made contact with the male subject and were assisting the subject.
l At 10:02 p.m., a male  reported a grass fire three miles south of Quay on the east side of the road. Rural Fire Department 4 responded.

Wednesday
l At 1:18 a.m., a female on East Laughlin Street reported a domestic dispute in progress.
l At 2:12 a.m., an employee at a business on East Route 66 reported that someone had stolen some beer.
l At 11:03 a.m., a female reported that some juveniles were setting off fireworks in her carport on South Seventh Street.
l At 11:31 a.m., a female in Nara Visa called to report that a male subject  had been harassing her. The Quay County Sheriff's Department responded.
l At 4:34 p.m., an anonymous caller reported a fight on South Second Street. One subject was transported to Trigg Hospital.
l At 4:55 p.m., a male called to report a grass fire at the 102 mile marker near the Rosebud Fire Station. The Rosebud Fire Department responded.
l At 7:00 p.m., the Quay County Sheriff advised that someone had witnessed some juveniles setting a car on fire at an abandoned business West of Tucumcari.
l At 9:46 p.m., an anonymous caller reported someone in a green GMC pickup throwing firecrackers at people and at street signs on South First Street.
l At 11:15 p.m., a male reported that  someone was harassing his family at an apartment complex on Sunset Road.

    Thursday
l At 12:47 a.m., a female on East Aber Street  reported that a suspicious subject was knocking on the window.
At 5:02 a.m., a female reported a domestic dispute on East Heman Street and wanted to make a report. A male subject was arrested and transported to Quay County Detention Center.
l At 1:27 p.m., an employee at a business on Mountain Road reported a fight between four male subjects at the gas pumps.
l At 2:08 p.m., a male on South Jackson Street reported  an intoxicated female subject throwing beer cans and bottles.
l At 6:24 p.m., an eight-year-old child called to report a domestic dispute between a male and a female at a residence on South Eighth Street. Officers advised that one subject was arrested and transported to Quay County Detention Center.
l At 9:29 p.m., an employee at a business on South First Street reported that a customer was harassing the employee.
