Local vets offering rabies clinics

Rabies clinics will be offered at four locations in Quay County on April 26 by two local veterinarians. 

Rabies vaccinations for dogs and cats will $7 each. Other vaccinations will be available at an additional cost. Dogs should be on a leash and  cats in a carrier.


Veterinarian Jim Tompkins will be providing services at:
l Tucumcari, from 9 a.m.  to noon and from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m., MDT at the city warehouse, 302 W. Center St. City licenses also will be available.


Veterinarian J.P. Cory will be providing services at:
l Nara Visa, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. CDT at the Fire Station.
l Logan, from noon to 3 p.m. MDT at he city warehouse north of the bank. City licenses will be available.
l San Jon, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. MDT at the old fire station. City Licenses will be available.
