Ticket feature: Pine Leaf Boys to take stage in Clovis
Three-time Grammy nominated Pine Leaf Boys take the stage 7 p.m. Jan. 23 at the Clovis Civic Center as part of Clovis Community College Cultural Arts Series.
The band mixes Cajun, Creole and Zydeco music.
The Louisiana band is known for lively shows and breathing new life into Cajun music by reviving ancient songs and bringing them to the bandstand.
The five piece group has been called “the link that connects the young and the old generations."
The group includes Wilson Savoy, Cajun accordion and vocals, Courtney Granger, fiddle and vocals, Jon Bertrand, guitars, Drew Simon, drums and vocals, and Thomas David on bass.
Tickets are $20 general admission, $15 for seniors, military and students, and are available at the CCC Cashiers’ Windows, Information Tickets and Tours located in The End Zone at Cannon Air Force Base, and at the box office the evening of the performance, pending availability.
