Press release: Greene Acres Lake reopens

The lake at Greene Acres Park which was temporarily closed by the City of Clovis February 27th, 2010, due to elevated levels of fecal coliform bacteria has been reopened today.
“Fecal coliform bacteria levels are back within accepted limits” advised Clint Bunch, Public Works Director Wednesday. “The public is welcome to fish in the lake on a catch and release basis only until further notice. As always, there is no wading or swimming allowed in the lake”.
