06-07-08: Police Blotter

The following is a sample of calls received during the last few days by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department.  According to reports:

 Tuesday
l At 12:23 a.m., a female reported a suspicious subject in her backyard on East Barnes Avenue.
l At 1:07 a.m., an anonymous caller reported a fight on Rock Island Street and that one male subject was beaten up.
l At 4:08 a.m., a female on South Tenth Street reported damage to her door by a possible prowler.
l At 6:07 a.m., a female called to report that some roofing materials had been stolen on East Rankin Avenue.
l At 8:25 a.m., a male at a business on East Route 66 called to report some benches he had purchased had been stolen.
l At 4:08 a Quay County Sheriff’s Deputy advised that he had stopped a vehicle for a possible DWI.
l At 7:25 p.m., a female reported graffiti on some playground equipment at an elementary school on South Eleventh Street.
l At 5:36 p.m., a female reported that her son had been hit by a male subject and wanted to file charges.
l At 7:23 p.m. a female on South Fifth Street called to report that her son was bitten by a dog.
l At 7:32 p.m., an anonymous caller reported an elderly man laying on the ground on East Tucumcari Boulevard.
 l  At 9:35 p.m., a female at a business on Mountain Road called to report a fight at the gas pumps.

Wednesday
l At 12:45 p.m., a female reported a possible domestic dispute on South Seventh Street.
l At 5:08 p.m., a male reported a domestic dispute on West Railroad Avenue.
l At 5:55 p.m., a female reported a small grass fire on I-40 at mile marker 335 West of Tucumcari.
l At 8:46 p.m., an anonymous caller reported that four juveniles had jumped the fence at the public pool. The officer advised that he made contact with the juveniles and told them not to return.
l At 9:11 p.m., a female reported that her vehicle was damaged in the parking lot of a business on East Tucumcari Boulevard.
l At 11:18 p.m., a female reported that a male subject had thrown a rock through a window at a residence on East Main Street.

Thursday
l At 8:07 a.m., a male on South Eleventh Street reported that someone on a 4 wheeler keeps driving through his yard.
l At 11:40 a.m., a female on South Second Street reported that a window had been broken out of her car.
l At 2:07 p.m.,  an anonymous caller reported a fight on East Laughlin Avenue between four individuals. The officers advise that one subject was arrested.
l At 4:26 p.m., the House Fire Department reported a fire on Quay Road 26. They later reported the fire was under control.
