Comments 0The following is a sample of calls received during the last few days by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department.
Sunday
l At 8:11 a.m., an anonymous caller reported an accident with no injuries on Mountain Road.
Monday
l At 10:08 a.m., an anonymous caller reported a subject dressed in all black walking north on south Seventh Street and going around looking in houses. An officer advised that the subject could not be located.
l At 10:39 a.m., a female on south Rock Island Street reported that someone had “keyed” her vehicle.
Tuesday
l At 4:40 p.m., a male reported a hit and run on west Tucumcari Boulevard in which some property was damaged.
l At 12:09 p.m., the Harding County Sheriff’s office received a call reporting a jackknifed truck on Highway 39 outside of Mosquero going south towards Logan. An officer of the HCSO advised that he was en route and to call for a wrecker.
l At 9:10 a.m., a female requested an officer to Fourth Street in Logan. Her neighbor’s child was throwing firecrackers and she was afraid the gas tanks or the hay would catch on fire.
Wednesday
l At 8:31 a.m., a female reported vandalism at her residence on east Turner Avenue. A window was broken and she wanted an officer to look at the glass.
l At 10:33 a.m., an anonymous caller reported a white dog at large dragging a chain on south Jackson Street.
l At 11:59 a.m., a male reported an accident with no injuries on south First Street.
l At 8:34 p.m., a female called to report that some juveniles on east Smith Avenue were kicking in her fence and threatening her.
l At 8:58 p.m., officers responded to an alarm on east Tucumcari Boulevard and advised that a door had been kicked in and nothing was taken. Officers advised someone had seen a subject with a blue or black beanie running and the area was being checked.
Thursday
l At 7:37 a.m., a male reported that his office on south First Street had been vandalized.
l At 7:49 a.m., a female came to The Tucumcari Police Department to report vandalism to her vehicle. Someone had written obscenities on the trunk.
l At 8:44 p.m., an anonymous caller reported a domestic dispute in progress on east Smith Avenue. An officer advised that it was a verbal dispute only and that the parties had separated for the night.
l At 9:42 p.m., a male reported that the back window of his car had been broken with a large rock while parked on west High Street and there was a brick on the front of the car.
