Comments 0The following is a sample of calls received during the last few days by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department.
Saturday
l At 6:27 p.m., a male requested officers to his neighbor’s house on east Heman Avenue in reference to damage to the handrail and door of the house. His neighbor is currently out of town, the caller said.
l At 12:22 p.m., a female reported to the Logan Police Department that someone had hit her car while she was at Dunn Park in Tucumcari for the Easter Egg Hunt.
Sunday
l At 5:02 p.m., an anonymous caller reported a fight between two male subjects on south Fourth Street. The caller said one of the male subjects had a knife and there was a group of female subjects getting into it. An officer advised that it was a verbal argument.
l At 8:14 p.m., a female reported to the Logan Police Department from north Fifth Street in Logan that she had hit a deer.
l At 9:23 p.m., an anonymous female on south Monroe Street reported possible domestic violence. The caller said she could hear a male and a female arguing.
Monday
l At 2:01 a.m., a male reported that he had been in an accident with injuries. The caller was unable to give a location. An officer advised that the subject had been located on a frontage road in the area of the old Triple T truck plaza on west Route 66.
l At 8:48 a.m., a female reported an accident with no injuries at a truck stop on Mountain Road.
l At 8:42 p.m., a female reported that two male subjects had shoplifted two 30-packs of Bud Light beer from a business on Route 66 Boulevard.
l At 3:26 p.m., a male reported to the Tucumcari Sheriff’s Department that there had been a toolbox theft from a business on Cemetery Road in San Jon.
l At 3:45 p.m., a male reported a structure fire on Quay Road AG to a Rural Fire Department, which responded to the blaze.
