The following is a sample of calls received during the last few days by the Central Dispatch Office for Quay County, based the Tucumcari Police Department. According to reports:

Tuesday

• At 5:52 a.m., a male reported his vehicle had been vandalized on East Aber Street.
• At 7:09 p.m., a male reported that two juveniles were fighting near the baseball field by the fairgrounds.
• At 8:18 p.m., a male reported that his brother had been bitten by two pit-bull dogs on South Fifth Street.
• At 10:34 p.m., a female reported that someone tried to give her a counterfeit $20 bill at a gas station on East Route 66.

Wednesday

• At 11:45 a.m., a male reported finding a hypodermic needle in his yard on the northside of town.
• At 2:06 p.m., several callers reported an erratic driver on South Third Street. An officer advised that the male subject was arrested on warrants out of Curry County and was charged with driving with a suspended or revoked license.
• At 3:11 p.m., a female reported that a trailer had been stolen from a business on Mountain Road.
• At 5:36 p.m., a female requested an officer to meet with her on South Tenth Street about two cars she had purchased. She wanted to make sure they were not stolen.

Thursday

• At 3:41 a.m., a male reported that he had lost his wallet in Palomas. The Quay County Sheriff’s Department was notified.
• At 2:56 p.m., a female called to report a shoplifter at a business located on East Tucumcari Boulevard.
• At 2:57 p.m., an anonymous caller reported a fire on State Highway 469 near Nara Visa. The Nara Visa Fire Department responded.
• At 4:57 p.m., an anonymous caller reported a fight involving several boys at Jimenez Park.
• At 6:56 p.m., a female reported an erratic driver at on I-40 several miles west of Palomas.
