Comments 0 | Recommend 0The following is a sample of calls received during the last few days by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department. According to reports:
Monday
l At 4:00 a.m., an employee at a business in Logan reported a gas skip of $39. Logan Officers advised they made contact with the subjects and they had made restitution with a credit card over the phone.
l At 6:48 a.m., a female called to report vandalism to her vehicle on East Laughlin Street.
l At 8:45 a.m., a male reported a dispute between tenant and landlord.
l At 10:21 a.m., a female reported a burglary at a business on West Tucumcari Boulevard.
l At 5:31 p.m., a female on East Center Street reported that her son had run away.
l At 7:22 p.m., a female on South Second Street called to report a possible restraining order violation.
l At 8:52 p.m., a female reported that two juvenile boys were throwing firecrackers at a female juvenile on South Rock Island Street.
l At 10:16 p.m., an anonymous caller reported hearing shots fired on College Avenue. Officers advised that it was someone shooting off fireworks.
l At 10 : 46 p.m., a female reported a possible domestic dispute on East Tucumcari Boulevard between a woman a child.
Tuesday
l At 8:26 a.m., a male at a business on West Tucumcari Boulevard reported that someone had kicked in the back door and stolen the credit card machine.
l At 3:56 p.m., an employee at a business on East Tucumcari Boulevard reported two males shoplifting.
l At 6:21 p.m., a female reported that there was a male subject lying in a driveway on South Jackson Street. An officer advised that the subject was intoxicated and was sent home.
l At 9:36 p.m., the Logan Fire Department reported a grass fire on Highway 54 near Airport Road.
l At 10:20 p.m., a male reported that while driving down East Tucumcari Boulevard some juveniles threw fireworks at his vehicle.
l At 11:51 p.m., a male on East Center Street reported that someone was harassing him and following him.
