09-06-08: Police Blotter

The following is a sample of calls received during the last few days by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department.

Tuesday
l At 1:56 a.m., a male on east Barnes Street Reported a suspicious vehicle in the alley.
l At 4:04 a.m., a Greyhound bus driver reported that a male passenger was harassing him.
l At 12;23 p.m., an anonymous caller reported an erratic driver on Highway 54 between Tucumcari and Logan.
l At 5:27 p.m., a male came in to the Tucumcari Police Department to report a hit and run that had occurred the previous day.
l At 7:44 p.m., an anonymous caller reported two suspicious subjects in the alley on south First Street.

Wednesday
l At 3:56 a.m., a female called Logan Police Department to report a possible prowler on 540 Loop in Logan.
l At 7:34 a.m., a male reported that someone had cut the lock off of his propane cage and took three tanks.
l At 7:56 a.m., a female reported that a window in her vehicle had been shot out where it was parked on south Third Street.
l At 9:30 a.m., an employee at a business on east Route 66 Boulevard reported a dissatisfied customer.
l At 9:36 a.m., a female reported a domestic dispute in a vehicle on south Jackson Street.
l At 10:58 a.m., a male called the Quay County Sheriff’s Office to report a breaking and entering.
l At 3:15 p.m., a female came in to the Tucumcari Police Department to report that two subjects were harassing her.
l At 3:34 p.m., a female on south First Street reported that a window in her vehicle had been broken out.
l At 6:53 p.m., the New Mexico State Police called the Quay County Sheriff’s Office to request their assistance at a rest area east of San Jon.
l At 11:24 p.m., a female reported a prowler on east Turner Street.

Thursday
l At 4:50 a.m., the New Mexico State Police requested an officer at the 321 mile marker in reference to a vehicle going west in the east bound lane.
l At 3:21 p.m., a female at a business on west Main Street reported an unwanted male subject.
l At 7:18 p.m., a female reported a breaking and entering on west High Street.
l At 2:23 p.m., the New Mexico State Police called the Quay County Sheriff’s Office to report a possible drunk driver coming in from Conchas Lake on Highway 104.
l At 5:33 p.m., a female called the Quay County Sheriff’s Office to report that a horse had been shot on Quay Road 72.
