Veterans Day observances set in Quay County

Veterans Day services set for Sunday
The Tucumcari Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution, with the assistance of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2528 will hold a pre-Veterans Day service at 1:30 p.m. Sunday  at Veterans Park, located in the triangle at Main and north Third streets. Everyone is invited to attend.                   

Legion Auxiliary extends invitation to veterans
All area veterans and their families have an open invitation to join the American Legion Auxiliary Unit #77 in an evening celebrating our country's heroes, said an auxiliary spokeswoman.
The Annual Veterans Day Dinner is sponsored by the American Legion  Auxiliary Unit #77 of Logan and is on Saturday at the American Legion Bingo Hall in Logan.
The get-acquainted hour is at 5 p.m.  The meal will be served at 6 p.m. with a short program to follow.
