Municipal election results

Tucumcari City Commission incumbents retained their seats while the Village of Logan gained a new mayor and council members, according to unofficial results from Tuesday’s municipal elections.

Municipal elections were across Quay County, results favored District 4 (Incumbent) Robert Lumpkin won his bid for reelection over opponent Keith Hayes and District 5 (Incumbent) Todd Duplantis retained the commission seat he was appointed to following the death of John Mihm in December 2016. Duplantis defeated David Hamilton.

In Logan David L. Babb was elected mayor over TJ Smith.

David Shivers defeated Russell Feerer in the Village Council Position 2 race (two year term). Barry Bass defeated Larry Walling in the Village Council Position 3 race.

Here are the unofficial results of the contested races for Tucumcari and Logan and the uncontested races throughout the county.

All terms are for four years unless otherwise marked. Results are unofficial until an election canvas is completed.
