Special to the Quay County Sun The last rodeo for the fall semester was completed at New Mexico State University (NMSU) in Las Cruces last weekend with a strong showing from Mesalands Rodeo Team members. Mesalands’ Men’s Team took fourth place with 321 points and the Women’s Team ended in sixth place with 78.5 points.

Quay County 4-Hers recently competed in the county 4-H contests. Novice and Junior 4-Hers are now competing in the District Contest in Roswell. The Senior 4-Hers will be participating in State Conference in Las Cruces in July.
