City orders cleanup

A citywide clean up for the Rattler Reunion this weekend would show the alumni coming back home that residents still care about their community still cares, according to city code enforcement officer Veronica Sandy
According to Sandy;
- It is the city ordinance that everyone's property should stay clean from the curb to the alley.
- When there is a violation a letter is sent out first giving 10 days to comply with the city's ordinance.
- Failure to comply will result in a citation
- Next step you will go to court and the judge will decide the fine
Sandy said everyone's cooperation is appreciated in the beautification of the town.
