Rural water authority approves resolution

The Eastern New Mexico Water Utility Authority has approved a resolution affirming commitment for the operation and management of the Eastern New Mexico Rural Water System.

The authority took the action at a special meeting Friday held in Clovis City Hall. It is applying for $5 million from the water trust board.

The resolution, Project Manager Paul van Gulick said via teleconference, is a new requirement from the state water trust board. He called it a, "minor item," with, "no effect over and above anything we've approved in our financial plan."
